On 22 September, Burberry Creative Director Christopher Bailey and Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts hosted an event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of London Fashion week and the recent opening of the new Burberry global headquarters in London. The event followed the Burberry Prorsum Womenswear Spring/Summer 2010 show which closed London Fashion week.

On 22 September, Burberry closed London Fashion week with the showing of its Burberry Prorsum Womenswear Spring/Summer 2010 collection. The show at the Rootstein Hopkins parade ground at the Chelsea college of Art and Design in Westminster, London celebrated the new Burberry headquarters at Horseferry House in Westminster as well as the 25th anniversary of London Fashion week.

Burberry will become the newest addition to the Manhattan skyline from 28 May 2009 when three 50 foot long neon Burberry signs will be lit above the new Burberry Americas headquarters at 444 Madison Avenue in New York. The site is one of only six grand fathered signage locations in New York.
