The Burberry Prorsum Spring Summer 2010 menswear collection was inspired by the British town and country under the quintessential British elements of rain and sun. Building on the brand's heritage in fabric innovation and development, the collection features the iconic Burberry trench coat in shower-proof waxed heritage cottons, waxed linens and ruched paper-light technical nylons all in pale weather-worn colours. Burberry accessories shown include stonewashed canvas utility bags, carpenter bags and vintage Chelsea boots. Burberry ad campaign stars George Craig and Charlie France were among those walking the show which took place on 20 June 2009 in Milan. The collection will be available from November 2009 in select Burberry stores worldwide

Shown in Milan in February 2009, the Burberry Prorsum Autumn Winter Womenswear 2009 collection focuses on British iconography – from Burberry icons including the trench coat, the check and outerwear to traditional British iconic fabrics such as tartan, plaid and tweed. Inspired by The Bloomsbury Set including Virginia Woolf and Vanessa Bell, the collection is elegant, quietly opulent and nostalgic.

Shown in Milan on 17 January, the Burberry Prorsum Menswear Autumn/Winter 2009 collection focuses on the whole vocabulary of the brand, including it's outerwear heritage, from car coats to the iconic trench coat, all in traditional British fabrications. The collection which was inspired by images of England by photographer Bill Brandt, is poetic, relaxed and elegant.

Using classic outerwear pieces from the Burberry archive as the foundation, the Spring/Summer 2009 Menswear collection features modernised simple, elegant and unconstructed coats for all occasions. Ready-to-wear pieces in crumpled fabrics including broderie anglaise, gabardine, superfine cashmere, technical cotton and lightweight linen are layered and have soft silhouettes, giving them a familiar, worn-in look available in muted earth tones such as pewter, bark, trench, sage and citrine. Oversized bags in soft leather and exploded Burberry check and classic English shoes with waterproof rubber soles are available in the accessories collection.

The Burberry "The Garden Girls” Spring/Summer 2009 Womenswear collection was inspired by the brand’s rich heritage of providing functional timeless outerwear. The collection includes raincoats for any time of the day and night from classic trench coats in degradé gabardine to decorative evening coats in neutral earth shades with accents of pop colours reflecting a garden coming to life. Accessories including The Burberry Gardener Bag, degradé canvas platform sandals and metallic and acrylic floral jewellery in a soft colour palette of mushroom, dark pink and slate blue are featured.

Celebrating a heritage in practical and functional menswear with a unique British sensibility, the Burberry Autumn/Winter 2008 collection is poetic, nostalgic and emotive. Men’s tailoring, eveningwear and outerwear is presented in rich elegant textures and effortless soft silhouettes in faded sombre hues of moss green, taupe and charcoal. The show features the newly launched luggage collection in black and oxblood leather and felted, wool caps and hats.

The Burberry Autumn/Winter 2008 Womenswear collection, inspired by the romantic poetic mood of L S Lowry paintings features key outerwear styles including interpretations of the trench coat, one of the Burberry signature icons, with oversized proportions and soft rounded shoulders in textured fabrics including smocked velvet, knotted silk organza and hand-painted feathers in an autumnal colour palette of olive, prussian blue, amethyst and copper. Accessories including the Burberry Lowry Bag and glass gem and rose thorn spike jewellery collection add an opulent balance to the ready-to-wear pieces.
